Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for the overall quality of service and cleanliness within the Snow Creek F&B operations. This role assists with the management of dining room, food court areas and bar. The Assistant Manager ensures staff and dining atmosphere provide guests with a pleasant dining experience on a daily basis. This role also assists the F&B manager with payroll, inventory, and other office duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial performance of daily operations

  • Accurately conduct reports and safe audits

  • Scheduling, timekeeping, staff performance reviews, and daily management of staff

  • Accurately schedule staff to business levels

  • Place orders and maintain inventory control of restaurant products

  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints

  • Actively manage inventory levels and participate in inventory counts

  • Know and enforce local, state and federal regulations for the sale and distribution of alcohol.

  • Know and ensure all employees and guests in the location are following local, state, federal and company guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19

  • Create and maintain a log with opening and closing duties, stock levels and daily bar notes

  • Maintain Platte County and VR safety standards

  • Hold and document daily “staff huddles” and all staff meetings as needed

  • May have to bartend, cook, bus tables and preform all other duties of the front line staff as needed

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3 years restaurant experience or experience in comparable field

  • 1 year supervisory experience or experience in comparable field

  • Able to communicate in English

  • Must have or be able to obtain Platte County Food Handlers Card.

  • Must have or be able to obtain TIPS or SMART certification

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge

  • Ability to speak, read and communicate English.

  • Ability to maintain a positive work ethic.

  • Ability to work as a productive part of a team.

  • Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand for up to 6-8 hours at a time.

  • Demonstrates excellent guest service skills.

  • Able to work weekends and holidays.

The individuals in the Food and Beverage department work as a team, flexing with the business and team needs. Like most other jobs in the ski industry, this position requires a flexible schedule, working holidays, weekends and long hours as necessary.
