Ozarks Medical Center Crisis Response Worker II in West Plains, Missouri
Responds with direct crisis interventions on site and in the community. Worker will answer all incoming crisis calls during office hours and determine interventions and level of care needed for behavioral stabilization. Responsible for de-escalating tense situations on-site or following established safety protocol if situation escalates. Crisis Response Worker will also help consumers understand process for 96 hour holds and ensure transfer of care is complete from beginning to end of a call. Some rotating on-call is required.
Must have good Interpersonal skills able to relate to employees, physicians, law enforcement, social workers, juvenile officers, clients and/or other agencies involved in crises care.
Masters degree in psychology, sociology, social work or other mental health field.
