IBM WW Cognitive Infrastructure ML/DL/AI Client Success Sales Rep in St Louis, Missouri

Job Description

Lead hardware sales team in a transformation to AI sales and deliver ML/DL/AI Revenue/GP plan. Use SME skills to lead from the front, present at key customers and events, work with geographic and industry teams to present the IBM Power AI Value proposition and resolve sales inhibors. Give sales feedback to offering teams to help refine offerings and identify gaps in software and hardware. Work with channel team and channel partners to lead the same transition as the sales force.

Can be located anywhere in the USA

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Extensive senior sales experience, able to travel 25-50% time, background in Power and/or data intensive/cognitive workloads, understanding of IBM channels/able to be build strategic partner relationships.

A resource with proven skills in Data Management and Artificial Intelligence market segments, with experience in competitive portfolios ( Microsoft, Google, Amazon ), as well as, ISVs ( Hortonworks, AI frameworks, NoSQL, etc ).

First and 2nd line sales management proven experience leading Sales and Pre-Sales teams, as well as field experience to be able to influence strategy, execution and other leaders not reporting directly into his/her organization.

A leader with multi-cultural background and industry knowledge to influence the Analytics Leaders reporting into Integrated Accounts and Global Industries at IBM.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Experience working with Nvidia and startups with AI focus

Experienced public speaker to large groups and ability to customize presentation and deck to focus on key Industries.

Experienced at mentoring and transitioning hardware sales teams to SW focused sales.
