TSS Onsite Manager

Perspecta has an immediate need in our US Public Sector group for a TSS Onsite Manager in Wilkes Barre, PA; Washington , DC; Eagan, MN; St. Louis, MS; Raleigh, NC.

  • HR responsibility, “owns” the resources within their organization.

  • Fully billable, onsite leadership role with up to 5 hours/week management responsibility over team of up to 15 onsite staff.

  • Onsite representation of Perspecta toward the client (bidirectional communication) – to hear client concerns, to extend Perspecta solutions, to pass client requirements through to Perspecta leadership team, to build and maintain relationships with client leadership.

  • Point of contact for onsite staff – to direct team questions to Account Manager, to escalate delivery issues up to Program Delivery Manager.

  • Point of contact for Perspecta communication to onsite staff – timesheet cut off, training reminders, vacation requests, dissemination of corporate communications, etc. (maintain distribution list of team’s email addresses in USPS domain and in Perspecta domain).

  • Provide input for staffing activities, work with Account Manager and PMO staff recruitment function.

  • Handle onboarding & assimilation of new staff members.

  • Prepare and submit Monthly Status Reports (MSR).

  • Conduct semi-annual staff performance reviews.

  • Report to Program Delivery Manager.



A 4 year degree from an accredited College/University.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in client-facing role.

  • 10 years' experience in delivering client products.

  • Prior experience managing delivery staff.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Demonstrate broad knowledge of corporate organization, culture, policies, products, markets and processes. Knowledgeable in:

  • Corporate standards of excellence

  • Personnel development strategies including: performance appraisal techniques and coaching & mentoring. Demonstrate skills in state-of-the-art technical, functional and business.

  • Project portfolio management

  • Project management

  • Working knowledge of Project Management, opportunity assessment and management, business development, account management & engagement pursuit, financial fundamentals & forecasting methods, capacity & capability planning.
