GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Processing of customer credit card adjustments and related issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Download daily reports of credit card chargebacks.

  • Recording and posting chargeback details in our system.

  • Contacting customers regarding chargebacks.

  • Processing chargeback repayments and adjustments.

  • Preparation of various reports for customers and management

  • Assist customer service representatives with questions related to chargebacks.

  • Proposed additions

  • Assist, resolve, and mitigate a variety of customer service, accounting, risk, and compliance inquiries.

  • Provide quality service and support to Access Corrections staff, customers, and 3rd party servicers by answering questions, researching inquires, and providing solutions from multiple sources including email, multi-line phone queue, instant messenger, and internal software systems

  • Execute daily banking and accounting activities not limited to report downloads, recording of payments, payment issue resolution and banking platform management.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement changes related to areas of responsibility. Lead change and seek productivity improvements.

  • Monitoring and reviewing of processes and procedures for accuracy and facilitates the updates.

  • Ability to identify, research, troubleshoot, and resolve variances of data and reporting.

  • Monitor, document, and report changes that could impact business objectives.

  • Oral and written ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

  • Prepares journal entries and ensures accuracy of information for monthly activities with accurate GL codes.

  • Strong Excel and Word skills.

  • Perform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A. A.) or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. •Excellent oral and written communication skills. Solid organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will often be required to sit, talk and hear. The employee will occasionally be required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. There are no

special vision requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
