Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for a Senior Offering Manager - Cyber Security Services to deliver on innovation plans and business targets in the Threat Management space. Joining IBM Security Services gives you the opportunity to:

In this role, you’ll play a central role leading and orchestrating the definition of product requirements, go-to-market strategy and delivery execution to solve the threat management challenges of enterprise and mid-market clients. This role requires collaboration and coordination across internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of our organization. You’ll work with our clients, security intelligence and operations services experts, partners, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearhead the definition and delivery of new and differentiated capabilities.
The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills, problem solving skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated relevant experience with security intelligence, operations and threat management products and services. We are looking for a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambitious projects that will be industry defining. This position requires a solid business and technical background, and the candidate should be client-focused with a passion for delivering compelling client experiences.
Responsibilities include:
Use lean product management and agile practices to incubate new service capabilities.
Collaborate across our team of security intelligence and operations professionals to define and execute on our Threat Management Services strategy.
Lead and execute the entire product life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical execution including:
market analysis
business case development
competitive analysis
go-to-market definition
offering definition
offering development
materials development
pricing
delivery readiness
sales training
overall performance of the offering in the market
Team with IBM Security product and industry partners as it relates to their technology being leveraged as part of IBM's As-A-Service offerings.
Work with local and regional product management leadership and sales leadership around the world to understand and track the health and adoption of services within your assigned portfolio and gather feedback of future needs.
Support sales by enabling business development and sales teams, supporting client meetings, and helping to identify opportunities to increase that success.
Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.
Research and identify new opportunities for IBM Security to innovate on behalf of our clients.
Support press and analyst activities as required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Experience with all product management responsibilities specific to Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) delivered as a service
Knowledge of the security product market specific to MDR and XDR
Experience with security intelligence, operations and threat management products and/or services and their real-world application within a security operation
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve aggressive business objectives
Proven ability to synthesize complex issues and opinions into simple stories
Attention to details, proactive self-starter
Ability to coach team members and guide them to deliver on business commitments
Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements
Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion in an iterative way
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30%, including international travel.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
4+ years of experience in product management and/or product marketing
4+ years of experience in cybersecurity
2+ years of experience in managed services product management
2+ years of experience in consulting services and/or systems integration product management
1+ Experience in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) product management
1+ Experience in Extended Detection and Response (XDR) product management
1+ Experience with security threat management products and/or services
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 8 years of experience in product management
4+ years of experience in cybersecurity threat management or security operations
4+ years of experience in managed and consulting security services
3+ years of experience in MDR and/or XDR product management
MBA or advanced degree in a related field
