Population Health Playbook Manager

Position Summary:

Provides expertise in content management, process improvement and/or change management initiatives. Drives cross-functional partnerships to support program development that drives population health initiatives for clients. Designs and maintains the Population Health Playbook knowledge management system. Facilitates the clinical and operational program development process from the early solution definition stage through to deployment and coordinates with numerous stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Designs and maintains Population Health Playbook knowledge management system including addition of new program sites and existing program enhancements.

  • Facilitates clinical and operational program development process to ensure organizational alignment on business requirements, change concepts, and specific tactics required to execute at scale. Promotes deployment strategies to drive successful implementation.

  • Assembles cross-disciplinary work teams to update programs and add new ones to the portfolio.

  • Manages documentation for program requirements that provide relevant inputs to technology or internal technology enablement partners that facilitate a holistic development approach.

  • Develops report out of program development status, risks, mitigation strategies on a regular cadence with the Playbook Executive committee comprised of senior leadership, under guidance of leadership.

  • Maintains process for integrating and reporting out on technology and analytic enhancements according to schedule.

  • Partners with leadership in developing program trainings and determining educational opportunities as necessary.

  • Performs any required primary or secondary research such as, but not limited to, literature review, feedback from priority target segments, or channel partner alignment as require.

  • Maintains relationships with internal stakeholders across the full program development lifecycle.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Technology or another related field; Master’s Degree or other advanced degree strongly preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, product development, healthcare administration, or related field

  • Distinguished collaboration skills and the ability to drive success in cross-section of clinical, product, operations, and analytics experts to develop solution-oriented programs

  • Familiarity/experience in content management, development of change management documents, leading healthcare change management within a consulting environment

  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Ability to exhibit strong passion for process improvement and product development


  • People leadership experience

  • Familiarity with process improvement, healthcare economics, healthcare market trends strongly preferred

  • Experience in SharePoint (or equivalent) site development and maintenance strongly preferred
