We are currently seeking an exceptionally motivated Mechanical Estimator to join our team. Projects are from many construction sectors such as Federal (Civilian and Military), Aviation, Healthcare, Transportation, Education (K-12 and Higher Education), Manufacturing, Research & Development, Operations & Data Centers and Correctional Facilities. Based in any U.S. location , you’ll review design documents, proposals, specifications, drawings, attend design development meetings and make sites visits to define the scope of work and cost impacts required of the estimate process.
In this role, you will:
Report directly to the Regional Estimating Manager
Function as a key member of the estimating team on mechanical estimating assignments, provides independent estimates, constructability reviews, value engineering, risk analysis, and reviews/negotiates contractor estimates and change orders as it relates to the mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) scope of work
Work independently, following established procedures
Prepare and maintain historical cost data and estimating metrics
Be familiar with techniques, procedures, methods and the nature of applicable construction systems across the mechanical discipline; including but not limited to a variety of HVAC systems, distribution and controls, plumbing and piping systems, and various fire suppression methods
Be familiar with MCA standards and productivity

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
At least 5 years of experience within the mechanical construction industry
Proficient skills in the area of current technology (Word, Excel, estimating, scheduling and database software)
Experience with Excel, Timberline Estimating Software, On-Screen Takeoff
United States Citizenship
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Estimating certification from ASPE or AACE
Experience with MII
Strong and effective written, oral and presentation skills
Able to complete tasks independently
Adept at interpersonal relationship building and conflict resolution
