Based in St Louis, Missouri, you will ensure the timely and accurate flow of materials processes from the supply base to the point of use, utilizing the Kanban Replenishment System and Material Requirement Planning Process. You will perform analysis of customer demand, sales forecast and historical material usage to develop and execute service level plans and inventory level expectations. You will provide technical support for our ERP system and provide support for the Verdant transition and manage a small team.AS A MANAGER, DEMAND ANALYTICS, YOU WILL:Establish the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) Process for Verdant and Cooling item'sWork closely with Customer Service, Sales and Marketing as well as Engineering on the releasing to inventory of new productsDrive continuous improvement and eliminate waste such as waiting time and re-work, in office processesto meet company objectives more efficientlyDevelop plans to deliver results on key projects and developing standard work processesOwn responsibility for a growing number of suppliers and the related appropriate inventory targets by tracking intransit schedule along with Guadalajara plant production plans / Supplier schedules to ensure they are meeting the production scheduleManage all aspects of the system related to planning including the new Kanban Box system under the rules andguidelines providedWork closely with all Operation facilities and provide technical support for JDE for Operations and Materials functionsCreate and execute cross-functional operational decisions in the SandOP process and creating /defining material planning objectives, such as targets for inventory turn, days on hand, addressing past dues, premium freight, and inventory cost, then directing the implementation of cross functional and fully integrated planning processes that incorporate capacity planning (how much room is available for inventory and materials), scheduling (when materials come into the plant), inventory (how much product is available), how material is replenished (Kanban, Pull), and associated cost elements to meet those objectivesDirect cross functional teams as well as manage a small direct report team which include providing technical guidance, setting work objectives and priorities, providing work instructions, monitoring progress and performance, reviewing work, ensuring goals and timelines are metWHO YOU ARE:You establish and maintain effective, strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.You take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.You operateeffectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
