Position works on an as needed basis. Position hours are generally Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. as needed.

Essential Functions
*POSITION SUMMARY: *
This position is responsible for autoclaving and washing glassware used by laboratories.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collects glassware from the laboratories, washing all glassware and/or plastic-ware in the washer. Some containers, spatulas and other small items have to be washed by hand.
- Returns clean glassware to the laboratories.
- Picks up and delivers department mail from post office and distributes to employee’s mailboxes.
- Autoclaves bottles, cylinders, pipette tips, etc.
Required Qualifications
Must have some degree of manual dexterity and be able to work around detergents.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
Salary Range
The hiring range for this position is $13.80 - $14.44 per hour.
