BUNZL Import Pricing Coordinator - Contract Role in St. Louis, Missouri


The Import Pricing Coordinator will be responsible for analyzing all pricing components for imported products, and evaluating customer pricing relative to market conditions and competitive pressures as it relates to Bunzl International Services (BIS) products. The individual will work closely with the Pricing Analyst.

This is a temporary contract role based in St. Louis, MO.


  • Demonstrate an overall knowledge of the company’s product line, modes of transportation, and market demands

  • Track trends of the market; gather intelligence concerning customers, competitors, and market conditions to help develop pricing strategy for BIS business

  • Manage database of customer pricing and quotations

  • Develop and manage file for pricing communication to our customers including delivered costing and all related trade discounts, rebates and other cost considerations

  • Work closely with the pricing analyst to monitor cost changes and implement the price changes to the field

  • Review price deviations and estimated landed costing based on competitive market information

  • Send pricing and complete category price lists to internal customers as requested

  • Work with sourcing to develop internal customer sell prices

  • Validate product specifications with internal sales and marketing team when quoting pricing to ensure price quotes are accurate compared to the needs of the market

  • Cross reference competitor’s specs vs BIS specs for conversion and pricing purposes

  • Perform additional ad-hoc projects as requested by management


  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics or Marketing preferred

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of shared information and/or assignments

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Must be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational skills

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office

  • Experience with WebEx Meetings or similar platform

  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, vlookup, etc.) required
