The Wealth and Investment Management Technology group is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work closely with our developers and business partners to deliver critical functionality for our users. This individual must be able to handle multiple ongoing projects/tasks and possess a strong combination of analytical, assessment, organizational and relationship management skills; he/she must be capable of working successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders such as application owners, project managers, systems architects, application developers, quality assurance testers, and others in a highly distributed environment.

Acts in the technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for complex computer applications and/or application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans and performs complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Performs complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Overall, will act as a strong technical resource in the program development, testing, and implementation process.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience

  • 5+ years of .net experience

Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as VersionOne and Team Foundation Server (TFS)

  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban

  • 2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services

  • 5 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

  • Knowledge and understanding of Git or GitHub

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment

  • Knowledge and understanding of technical design: patterns

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Angular 6+ along with NGRX / RXJS.

  • Understanding and practical experience leveraging unit testing at the UI and middle tiers.
