INTEGRATED FACILITY SERVICES Customer Service Representative/Service Dispatcher in St Louis, Missouri

Integrated Facility Services is a leading Mechanical Contractor in Missouri, servicing the St. Louis metropolitan area for nearly 55 years. IFS provides HVAC, building automation, plumbing, fire protection, and system design and installation. The Customer Service Representative/ Service Dispatcher position is responsible for processing orders for service received by mail, telephone, fax or e-mail or personally from customers or company employees.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Answer incoming calls to service departmentEnter service requests into systemAssign and dispatch service orders to techniciansVerify and submit payroll weeklyResponsible for communications through many different online portals for service requestsPerform preliminary billing steps through the service dispatch board such as approving assets, adding standard charges, approving visits, etc.Miscellaneous administrative work as needed such as typing, copying, filing, etc.CompetenciesCustomer/Client Focus.Multi-taskerTeamwork Capacity.Communication Proficiency.Strong Computer Skills.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis role has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. This position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds for files and computer printouts.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
