KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Storage Operations to join our Digital Business Transformation organization.


  • Accountable for providing technical insight, strategic direction, peripheral vision and ongoing operations management for the Enterprise Storage and Back Up team

  • Manage a team of highly skilled storage and back-up engineers and operational staff along with being able to switch back and forth between personnel management and the more functional technical management as needed

  • Interface with Business Clients and Enterprise Architecture teams to evaluate business requirements in the early stages of projects to determine technologies, implement system architectures, and service offerings that should be employed to meet business objectives efficiently

  • Work with technical and project teams across the IT organization to implement complex Enterprise Storage and Back Up solutions that are optimized with configurations to meet current and anticipated business needs

  • Conduct presentations, work with project teams, and authorize content aimed at educating others about our standards, strategies, and otherwise defined best practices, including establishing, documenting, and communicating technology standards

  • Produce metrics and status reports to present infrastructure performance and work initiative progress to leadership


  • Minimum of eight years of experience in managing teams supporting various Enterprise Class Solutions and services, including Storage

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Experience in managing teams supporting various Enterprise Class Storage solutions and services

  • Provide on-call 24X7 support as needed

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; Able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; and foster the development of high performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; Ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities

  • US Citizenship required
