Robert Half International Accounting Specialist - Part-time in St. Louis, Missouri
Description
Robert Half Direct is partnering with a non-profit organization seeking a part-time Accounting Specialist to become an integral part of a growing administrative team. This position will be processing accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. You will report to the Director of Operations and work with the Billing Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance
Code documents for proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
Prepares payroll for approval
Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
Post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers
Requirements
2+ years of bookkeeping, A/R, A/P and payroll experience
Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task, highly organized and detail oriented
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions
Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
