Description & Requirements
Under minimal supervision, the On-Site Specialist IV coordinates and leads all customer visits to JHA data centers. The On-Site Specialist IV understands the data center operations and can articulate differentiating approaches to operating production and mission-critical networks and systems. The On-Site Specialist IV is familiar with handling customers’ questions and managing internal & external customer expectations. This role handles confidential information and sensitive internal or external business contacts.
This role can be worked from the following office locations: Allen, TX; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO. While this role isn’t required to sit in a physical office, candidates must be located in the surrounding office area. This role will be required to travel up to 80%.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in an administrative role.
Experience in site event coordination and customer presentations.
Must be able to travel up to 80%.
As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
Strong customer service focus.
Excellent planning, attention to detail and organization skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of administrative practices and procedures.
Strong knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook), Visio and SharePoint
Able to create timelines in project management software.
Able to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Able to type accurately and efficiently.
Able to work extended hours as business needs dictate.
Provides department leader(s) with administrative support for on-site customer visits to JHA offices.
Communicates with customers to determine expectations and logistics of visits.
Communicates with upper-level JHA management to create agendas and timelines, drafting of documents, establish customer expectations and calendar management.
Familiar with handling with customers’ questions and managing internal & external customer expectations.
Coordinates schedules and meeting appointments, organizes travel arrangements, meals, audio/visual, conference room setup, security needs for customer visits.
Presents and conducts self in a professional manner; promotes a positive company image.
Schedules and facilitates pre-calls and meetings.
Proofreads and compiles various presenters’ PowerPoint presentations into a single organized presentation.
Handles confidential material relevant to company operations.
May be required to handle and ship small items via UPS, USPS, or other means.
