Kforce Workday Change Lead in Saint Louis, Missouri

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Workday Change Lead.Primary duties and responsibilities:Planning:Work with the change director, change management consultants, and other members of the Workday Student project team, develop change management plans and recommend resources to ensure effective implementation; Activities may include, but are not limited to: * Determine readiness definition and measures * Ensure change plans support agreed upon measures * The complexity of the project with multiple systems, significant amount of data and the number of impacted departments, schools and processes requires previous technical Workday knowledge and experience As part of planning work, determine staffing needs and define the roles and responsibilities for change project team; Contribute to budget planning process:Implementation: Implement change management plans in order to achieve desired readiness metrics; Activities include, but are not limited to: * Working with project managers, ensure that plans are integrated with and aligned with the overall project plan and appropriate resources are assigned and project people readiness milestones are achieved * Lead and supervise the work of the change specialists/analysts with SMEs and functional experts to identify, document and analyze detailed current and future state information about process and system design changes (e.g. process, policy, technical, etc.) * Understand the significance of identified changes, including intended or unintended impacts on individuals, schools, and units, and/or the university overall; Use this information to design readiness, communications, and training activities and assessments * Monitor the implementation of change management to ensure the disruption of normal business operations is minimized Evaluation: * Oversee efforts to assess readiness and use insights to evaluate and adjust change management plans to achieve identified readiness metrics * Bachelor's degree with seven years of relevant change management experience * Experience includes managing change management activities and/or teams in technology project environments or equivalent combination of education and experience * Relevant experience includes Workday implementations or providing direction and leadership to a change management team Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree with more than five years of experience in executing change management initiatives in large, complex environments * Certification or training in one or more change management methodologies * Experience in direct management of people and teams * Experience with Workday implementations in a higher education environment * Creative and strategic thinker who possesses a confident style, coupled with sensitivity, flexibility, and sense of humor * Good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy skills * Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and consensus-driven environment * Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools * Strong attention to details and deadlines * Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships * Problem solving and root cause identification skills * Solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process * Experience with internal/employee communications * Superior written and verbal communications skills * Flexible and adaptable, ability to work in ambiguous situations * Problem solving and root cause identification skills * Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
