PDS Tech is seeking candidates for a Recording Clerk position in St. Louis, MO

Description

The Recording Clerk is responsible for entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form. Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork. Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, archiving, auditing, or verifying information or data.

Mandatory

High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred Related work experience at a Title Company or within Mortgage Strong knowledge of what type of documents are recordable Possesses Strong attention to Detail while also producing at a high rate Proactive in Solving Problems Ability to work Independently after trained Strong ability to work with others Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience with recording mortgage documents with the county by mail in or electronic submission

Knowledge of Mortgage Documents, specifically recordable documents such as a Deed of Trust, Mortgage, Deed, Subordination, etc.

Organized with the ability to multitask

Simplifile experience

Knowledge of county recording requirements

Possess a sense of urgency
