Performs any or all of a variety of services directed toward the efficient and courteous processing of incoming telephone calls and company visitors. Work assignments may vary according to the skills and experience of the individual and the needs of the organization and offices.less thanbr>Job Responsibilitiesless thanbr> 1. Operate multiple line telephone console or switchboard. Receive calls, transfer to called party or appropriate staff assistant.less thanbr> 2. Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, fax numbers, company website and other related informationless thanbr> 3. Greets on-site visitors, determines nature of business provide directions as required, and notify host of visitor's arrival.less thanbr> 4. Maintains fax machines retrieves and routes incoming faxes if applicableless thanbr> 5. Receives sorts and routes mail if applicable and routes publications.less thanbr> 6. Operate paging system, when applicable.less thanbr> 7. Answer front lines for office locations.less thanbr> 8. Perform other clerical duties as assigned.less thanbr>Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
