Kforce Project Coordinator in Saint Louis, Missouri

Kforce has a client in search of a Project Coordinator in Saint Louis, MO.Summary:The Project Coordinator/Leader fills an essential role for the Client Strategies Group, bringing project management and organizational skills to tackle some of the most critical and impactful efforts the firm undertakes. This role will coordinate and lead the strategic execution of small-scale projects and/or contribute to large scale projects/programs with direction from team leader and/or project leaders in order to deliver high quality results on time and within budget.Specifically, this position will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist project/program leaders in carrying out project duties and tasks, coordinate project meetings, assist in gathering requirements, ensure test plans are executed, and maintain project information

  • Lead or assist with developing, monitoring, tracking and communicating progress against project schedule, scope and quality objectives, using metrics and controls to measure progress, taking corrective action and escalating issues when necessary

  • Provide timely communication of relevant data to leadership for decision making

  • Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across multiple areas and third parties

  • Lead or assist with issue and risk identification and resolution

  • Partner with business areas and stakeholders to define and outline project objectives and measurement criteria

  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the project/program

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required as the position will facilitate group meetings and will be responsible for project communications

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

  • Ability to, with guidance, identify, prioritize, monitor, communicate, and/or resolve elements that can impact a project

  • Ability to organize work, break down complex tasks into management components, and manage a schedule

  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a team in an environment of change

  • Proficiency with core Microsoft tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint; SharePoint is a plus
