IBM Deskside Support Representative-Onsite Support in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri

Your Role and Responsibilities

Deskside Support Representative-Onsite Support

Participate in the deployment of the corporate Windows workstation platform (Windows 10) Provide configuration support for Windows Operating Systems, performing quality assurance tasks to validate images, and replacing / swapping. Responds to service requests and provides end-user support, including the troubleshooting and administration of hardware and software Remote Customer Contact and Trouble Resolution Configuring and deploy VPN Profiles Manage open requests in a prompt and timely fashion; document all end-user interactions. Analysis and resolution of desktop hardware and software problems White glove service for identified VIP's. Outlook troubleshooting Office 2013 troubleshooting if required General how to questions addressed. Quality Assurance UPS shipping via UPS CompusShip website Using email to work with team members to receive and ship hardware. Image PC using PXE boot from a SCCM server Installing applications via SCCM Tracking machines with printed labels and bar code scanning Boxing and unboxing PCs securely with bubble wrap and all required labeling Documenting Machine readiness in Database and Spreadsheets Service-Now experience preferred but not required

Minor Computer Repair (Dell Certification a plus)

Thrives in a Team environment while having the ability to work independently with little supervision

Background check will be required

Monday through Fridays 8am to 5pm generally, may shift to provide coverage.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Deskside Support in a corporate environment, Service Now experience, Office 365 Support, Support of Windows and Mac Operating Systems.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Dell Certified, A+ Certified
