The Business Administration group within WIM Operations is responsible for supporting a diverse set of key foundational functions including business intelligence and reporting, risk reduction, financial discipline and business resiliency.

The Business Support Consultant 4 (BSC 4) must be capable of handling a diverse set of responsibilities and play a key role in the strategy, management, and execution of critical Operations priorities and initiatives. The ideal candidate for this BSC 4 role is a high performer with experience in broad-based work and/or knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of business lines. The ability to successfully navigate ambiguous situations and juggle multiple priorities is a must.

Primary responsibilities include leading/supporting business assessments and solution development for significant business challenges and/or opportunities. Includes engaging with senior executives and SME’s to understand the challenge; structuring work needed to identify analysis needed;providing direction to operations teams; reviewing/incorporating results; and preparing/delivering final recommendation back to the senior executives, and driving to a decision.

Transition developed strategies and policies into implementation plans and activities, leading and supporting as necessary. This will include establishing appropriate governance models, teams, program/project plans, budgets, timelines etc. The ability to influence in a matrixed environment to secure organizational resources and partnering with day-to-day business and dedicated resources to ensure implementation success and realization of target benefits is very important.

Business programs and assessments include (not limited to) Fraud Risk Management, Required Absence, Risk Events, Incident Management, Complaint analysis, Business Reviews and Presentations, Metric and data aggregation.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to manage tactical or strategic initiatives

  • 1+ year of consultative business analysis experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience identifying inefficiencies, finding opportunities to streamline business processes, and implementing change

  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations

  • Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries, whitepaper, and presentations for management/senior leaders

  • Ability to present to decision makers in a professional and confident manner

  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Budget development and management skills

  • Experience with business risk management

  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
