Manufacturing Assembler - 2nd SHIFT
Assemblers are a vital part of the manufacturing process & their job is to ensure that all parts & products are in proper working order & meet the quality standards. They must have an aptitude for mechanics & an eye for detail. Successful candidates:
Use tools to make or repair parts & products.
Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble steel carts
Keep a clean & tidy workspace.
Meet all safety requirements
Identify any defective items & handle according to established procedures.
Make $15/hr & work 40+ hrs/wk

Logistics Location: 3125 Boschertown Rd, St. Charles, MO 63301 Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Schedule: Mon-Fri and some Saturdays
Responsibilities
Assembles, packages and labels products.
Operates equipment and tools as required.
Maintains assembly jigs, hand tools and equipment in good working order.
Ability to learn basic product knowledge to identify which types of wheels belong on specific products being assembled, model numbers, bearings, nuts, bolts, etc.
Produces quality finished goods with acceptable workmanship and few rejects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical activity that is essential to the job requires the ability to:
Balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
Walk or stand for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks.
Push and pull materials, and grasp parts and components.
Exert up to 60 pounds of force frequently.
Pay close visual acuity to perform inspections and operate machines.
Extensive use with power/hand tools.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 60lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
