What does that mean to your workday?You and your individual or group (1-4 people) will develop a schedule of activities to help each person accomplish their personal goals in real-life situations. This philosophy is our driving force: People will achieve better outcomes and enjoy the life they wish to lead if they are a part of their community!The iNitty-Grittyi (services you may provide individuals):Day HabilitationIn our community-based program, staff will assist with skills acquisition and development through learning: Etiquette, how to check out a book at the library, how to mail a letter, using money, etc.Individual Skills DevelopmentWe help develop more complex skills through hands-on learning how to: Cook, do laundry, grocery shop, budget, pay bills, use public transportation, etc.Community IntegrationWe offer assistance and teaching through participation in community activities like: Social events, clubs, recreational activities, volunteering, job explorationPersonal AssistantOur staff will assist with tasks that canit be accomplished independently like: Bathing, personal care, transfers, ambulation, groomingOur commitment to you...We will work with you, as a team, in your professional development--and hopefully have a great time doing it!We will provide you with top-level training (2 weeks skills training and certifications + hands-on training with a supervisor).
