Team Lead | Digital Experience Content Marketing
Cerner’s Marketing team is adding a Content Marketing Team Lead to our Digital Experience group! In this role, you will lead the build out of the content marketing strategy for all of marketing. The Content Marketing Team is accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. This team must understand and define the best content techniques for different marketing channels (web, social, email, in-person, etc) and provide editorial oversight and guidance across marketing teams. Ensuring Cerner’s digital and traditional marketing experiences are client-centered, data-driven and outcomes-focused will be a key responsibility. This role will work with solution and segment marketing teams to define content needs, storytelling approach and the best messaging for the potential buyers across the marketing and sales lifecycle. The Digital Experience Data and Analytics Manager is expected to develop a deep understanding of the market, competitors, sales process, clients and our solutions to develop and implement an integrated, strategic plan. This leader is vital to transforming our marketing function into a modern marketing organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Health Care Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
At least 7 years of marketing work experience
3+ years of experience developing and leading content marketing approaches in a marketing, PR or agency environment
Experience managing editorial responsibilities across a team of content developers and writers
Experience defining content marketing standards, guidance and best practice methods and implementing across multiple teams
Background in healthcare, hospital, life sciences or pharmaceutical marketing
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security with scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
