UnitedHealth Group Senior Wellness Coordinator - Remote in Maryland Heights, Missouri

Senior Wellness Coordinators provide telephonic support to behavioral healthcare providers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage to an inbound call queue in order to service providers

  • Confirm behavioral health benefit information

  • Escalate cases to appropriate clinical team partners

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree (or higher) in social work, psychology or related field

  • 2+ years of Managed care experience

  • 2+ years of Medical/Behavioral setting experience (i.e. hospital, managed care organization, or joint medical/behavioral outpatient practice)

  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in social work, psychology or related field

  • Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse

  • Experience working in an environment that required coordination of benefits and utilization of multiple groups and resources for patients

  • Experience working with low-income populations

  • Experience working with the aged, blind or disabled

  • Working knowledge of community-based resources and services
