GEHA Intern, Cyber Security in Lee’s Summit, Missouri

The GEHA Summer Internship Program is designed to provide the following to students:

Program starts on June 7, 2021 and ends August 13, 2021

SKILLS

  • Assist CIP Director, Managers and Architect with security metric and KPI reporting.

  • Assist CIP Managers with security assessment and internal pen testing activities

  • Assist CIP leadership with phishing and social engineering assessment activities

  • Assist CIP leadership with security focused project work, reporting and presentations

Potential Projects:

  • Priviledged Access Management (PAM)

  • Security Assessments

  • Quarterly Pen Testing

  • User Access Reviews

  • Monthly Vulnerability Reporting

  • Monthly Security KPI Analysis

Minimum Requirements

  • 3.0 overall GPA

  • Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team

  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word

  • Requires critical thinking / curiosity

  • Requires intermediate to advanced office productivity skills to support analysis and reporting

  • Requires basic understanding of network, application, OS and database technology

  • Solid organization, coordination and documentation skills

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a broader team or workgroup
