Description:

Performs responsibilities in generating sales, market share and profitability results for assigned territory with appropriate direction.

Duties &Responsibilities:

  • Meets salesobjectives and supports attainment of district and regional/ business unitperformance objectives.

  • Development ofmarket, customer, and industry knowledge along with further development oftechnical product knowledge is imperative. Effective utilization and managementof internal and external resources is expected. Perform customer/consumertraining meetings and support convention and professional association businessbuilding opportunities.

  • Maintains andutilizes expert product knowledge and highly effective selling skills in orderto influence customers to support the use of BIAH promoted products. Executesbrand strategies to ensure a consistent company sales and marketing message.Uses appropriate BIAH Sales Training techniques to facilitate the sale.

  • Utilizes CRM toolsto create pre-call plans. Keeps current territory records concerningactivities; communicates timely, accurately and meaningfully with Management.Utilizes CRM tool and supporting analysis to plan activity, report, monitorsamples and maintain customer records.

  • Analyzes territoryinformation to optimize customer calls and create annual business plan forexecution. Monitors market conditions for changes that impact our business.Completes objectives including achieving sales plan while operating withinspecified expense budget. Successfully completes all sales trainingrequirements.

  • Performs all Companybusiness in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, etc.) and Companypolicy and procedures. When violations are noted/observed they are to beimmediately reported to management. Demonstrates high ethical and professionalstandards with all business contacts in order to maintain BIAH's excellentreputation within the animal health community and internally.

SalesRepresentative Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited institution preferred.

  • Minimum of two tofive (2-5) years of relevant field sales experience in a competitive sellingenvironment or relevant industry experience required

  • Animal health orrelated industry experience preferred

  • Ability to work withgeneral supervision

  • General knowledge ofindustry practices , techniques and standards

  • Experiencepresenting to various size audiences

  • PC skills and theability to use mobile applications

  • Must demonstrate anaptitude and desire to sell and gain market share

  • Ability to learntechnical product knowledge quickly

  • Key competenciesinclude: interpersonal skills, drive, resilience, persuasive skills, teamwork,organization skills and strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel(may include overnight travel)

  • Should reside in territorygeography or be willing to relocate

  • Valid driver'slicense and an acceptable driving record to drive a company leased vehicle orauthorized rental vehicle

Senior SalesRepresentative Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited institution preferred.

  • Minimum of five-plus(5+) years of relevant field sales experience in a competitive selling environmentrequired

  • Animal health orrelated industry experience preferred

  • Ability to work withgeneral direction

  • Completeunderstanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards

  • Full knowledge ofindustry practices

  • Minimum of ten-plus(10+) years of relevant field sales experience in a competitive sellingenvironment with a minimum of five-plus (5+) years in animal health required

  • Ability to workwithout appreciable direction.

  • Contributes to thedevelopment of new concepts, techniques and standards

  • Considered in expertin the field

  • Experiencepresenting to various size audiences

  • PC skills and theability to use mobile applications

  • Must demonstrate anaptitude and desire to sell and gain market share

  • Ability to learntechnical product knowledge quickly

  • Key competenciesinclude: interpersonal skills, drive, resilience, persuasive skills, teamwork,organization skills and strong verbal and written communication skills

EligibilityRequirements:

  • Must be legallyauthorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing totake a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
