Saint Luke's Health System Registered Nurse - RN - Pre-Opt/PACU: PT, Swing Shift #18636 in Kansas City, Missouri

Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse in Perianesthesia functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.Make pre-operative phone calls to patients, coordinate all pre procedural evaluations by anesthesia, and testing.Requirements include critical care experience preferred or medical surgicalexperience required.Current Registered Nurse Missouri license and Bachelor's Degree is required. Current BLS and ACLS is required.
