Aerotek Project Architect in Kansas City, Missouri

Description:

  • Follow project from conceptual design through construction administration

  • Produce construction materials and methods and the production of construction documents

  • Monitor and direct the design team to delegate project duties and ensure feasibility of produced designs

  • Ensure compliance with government building codes and housing laws

  • Evaluate shop drawings to make necessary adjustments for sustained quality

  • Reviewing and approving architectural designs and specifications developed by project technical staff

  • Perform QA/QC and technical reviews

  • Write and edit architectural specifications

  • Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited school

  • Registered Architect or ability to obtain

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Proficient in use of BIM and CAD platforms, including Autodesk Revit, and Sketchup and/or Rhino, and familiarity with related tools and processes

  • Knowledge of visualization tools and processes a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, Grasshopper)
