Aerotek Project Architect in Kansas City, Missouri
Description:
Follow project from conceptual design through construction administration
Produce construction materials and methods and the production of construction documents
Monitor and direct the design team to delegate project duties and ensure feasibility of produced designs
Ensure compliance with government building codes and housing laws
Evaluate shop drawings to make necessary adjustments for sustained quality
Reviewing and approving architectural designs and specifications developed by project technical staff
Perform QA/QC and technical reviews
Write and edit architectural specifications
Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited school
Registered Architect or ability to obtain
5+ years of experience
Proficient in use of BIM and CAD platforms, including Autodesk Revit, and Sketchup and/or Rhino, and familiarity with related tools and processes
Knowledge of visualization tools and processes a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, Grasshopper)
