BUSINESS UNIT

eScreen (Abbott’s Workplace Services business) is driven by the vision, passion and dedication of its employees who are committed to developing and delivering innovative products and services which automate and streamline the employee screening process by combining cutting-edge technology with superior customer service.

We are looking for a resourceful and client-motivated Product Manager to drive creation and rollout of technology-based solutions for employers and occupational health providers to manage drug testing and occupational health programs. This is a new role in our growing Global Marketing team that will use voice of client and internal stakeholders to prioritize and drive successful rollout of new products and product enhancements.

This role will manage the success of products throughout the product lifecycle. The person hired in this role will be committed to understanding customer needs, defining product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, public relations, and account management to deliver products that will lead our market.

Responsibilities:

  • Engages clients and target market to understand business opportunities and unmet needs

  • Collaborates to hypothesize solutions for new opportunities or unmet needs.

  • Prioritizes opportunities based on input from all relevant parties.

  • Acts as product owner with Agile development teams

  • Is the go-to product expert to internal and external clients.

  • Maintains an ROI-based product roadmap that balances improvements and innovations

  • Communicates new products and product improvements to internal and external clients.

  • Develops the core positioning and messaging for assigned products.

  • Works with sales, marketing, and account management to maximize sales of products and retention of clients.

  • Analyzes product performance, product competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops strategies for assigned product/brand based on research and analysis.

  • Own Product Lifecycle Management Process (PLCM).

  • Collects and maintains competitive intelligence.

  • Works with Finance to ensure product pricing meets revenue and profitability goals.

  • Must be able to travel 10-15% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum four years’ experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Product Owner, or Product Manager (or similar roles).

  • Demonstrated success managing product lifecycle for web-based or mobile applications.

  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
