JES Holdings Leasing Manager - KC Loft Space in Kansas City, Missouri
The Leasing Manager is responsible for all administrative activities related to apartment rentals, including auditing advertisements, making appointments (via phone, text or computer) and preparing lease documentation in accordance with the community?s established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and communicate with prospects to achieve expected occupancy goals
Complete applications and new resident files including Credit/Criminal history checks and Employer/Landlord verifications, and all paperwork associated with the leasing process
Master software system (Entrada) to enter prospects, prepare leases, secure signatures, documentation, etc.
Become familiar with property inventory, keeping updated notes on condition, needs of units, etc. Ensure all units are ?rent ready? for leasing
Participate in the renewal process working together with Property Management to renew set percentage expectations
Assist in the Lead Generation and Management process (including company website, Apartments.com, advertising initiatives, digital initiatives, etc.), to generate as much qualified traffic as possible
Work with third party vendors to achieve seamless leasing process
Performs other related duties and assignments as required
College preferred but not required
Leasing, Property Management, Hospitality or Retail experience required
Flexibility with schedule, ability to work weekends
