Position Title: Global Market Development Manager, Agribusiness - Remote US

What will you do?

We are seeking a Global Market Development Manager to join our Agribusiness team. The successful candidate will be a member of our GSD Agribusiness Global Market Development Team, responsible for developing and executing key marketing programs for production animal diagnostic testing and plant/animal genotyping. This person will be a member of the team and work on the strategic direction and tactical implementation of activities and deliverables supporting the Agribusiness vertical and executing-to-plan.

Based remotely in any major US city with a preference in the Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to develop strategic, multi-channel integrated marketing plans, including customer segmentation, competitor analysis, business trends, market opportunities, and staging and pacing of marketing tactical programs.

  • Identify target customer segments and create value propositions and key messages for each segment.

  • Develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns to generate awareness and drive demand; achieve measurable results for key initiatives and new and/or existing products.

  • Collaborate and ensure alignment of marketing plans among Product Management, Regional Market Development Partners, Commercial Leaders, and other stakeholders.

  • Successfully engage internal and external advertising agencies to deliver high-quality assets, including, but not limited to, creative direction and content for print and digital collateral, PR, social media, customer-facing presentations, global tradeshow properties and promotional materials.

  • Maintain campaign metrics dashboards to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.

  • Partner with Product Management and Regional Marketing Managers to develop and deliver sales training and support materials.

  • Manage marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns to achieve a high return on investment.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our multi-brand strategy in all aspects of our marketing programs.

  • Interact with varying levels of internal and external personnel including direct customer communication, KOL engagement and management, and public presentations.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred. Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or other life science is a plus.

  • 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in marketing roles of increasing scope.

  • Exceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills.

  • Broad knowledge of marketing 4Ps, channels-to-market, segmentation, value proposition, marketing plan and campaign development, content marketing, voice of customer research and customer journey maps.

  • Self-starter and collaborative within project teams, and successful track record working in complex environments, including managing expectations of multiple stakeholders across business units and regions.

  • Written and oral communication skills including presentations to leadership.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Must be able to manage project scope, budget and schedule to achieve timely completion of project deliverables.

  • Flexibility and adapting quickly to change.

  • Approximately 15-25% domestic and international travel.
