Cornerstone onDemand Corporate Account Development Associate - Remote (United States) in Kansas City, Missouri

Corporate Account Developers (CAD) at Cornerstone are the key liaison between the Sales organization and buyers. The CAD role holds an important position at the top of the sales funnel for the entire company. The CAD is often our customer’s first experience with Cornerstone. The Corporate Account developer is responsible for strategy, execution, and management of all business development activities to our prospects. The ideal CAD candidate, along with having a track record of top performance, will also have the organizational skills to handle high lead flow and should have a strong interest in advancing his/her career in Sales. In this role, the CAD will develop key competencies and skill sets that will provide the tools to be successful and have opportunities to be promoted to escalated roles within the team. The candidate should demonstrate strong business acumen and be able to pull from relevant prior experience.

In this role you will...

  • Evangelize and educate the market on Cornerstone’s technology

  • Generate new business opportunities through strategically researching accounts, identify key players, and generate interest

  • Establish, build and nurture relationships with senior executives through developing an understanding of their business, the challenges they face, future projects and plans in order to address their needs with Cornerstone

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly quota of new business opportunities

  • Be a trusted member of the regional sales team, collaborate with regional sales managers and work cross-functionally with marketing to define joint strategy for developing the business

  • Articulate the CSOD business value proposition to decision makers to assess buying interest

  • Maintain consideration for privacy and security obligations

    You’ve got what it takes if you have...

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, 4-year university or equivalent experience

  • Lead generation, account management, or sales experience (HR sales a plus, but not required)

  • Proven experience of understanding client pain points and proposing solutions

  • Strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication (phone and email), time management, presentation and organizational skills

  • Openness and ability to be coached

  • Strong analytical abilities

  • Innate drive to succeed

  • Persistence and determination

  • Have a good understanding of the business metrics

  • Fearless attitude – willing to take intelligent risks
