About This Job
As part of the Commercial Loan Servicing, you’ll provide back office operations support for commercial, business banking, and a variety of specialty lending products. Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Representatives work directly with the Sales and Credit teams to remove roadblocks and complete operational tasks that allow Commerce to meet the customer’s commercial lending needs. Operational tasks performed by Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Representatives include loan document preparation, loan accounting, collateral monitoring and perfection, as well as legal and regulatory review. Job Summary
This is an entry-level leadership position within Commercial Loan Servicing Doc Prep responsible for workflow coordination, assist in training, and research. Doc Prep’s main responsibility is to review legally binding documents using terms and data specified by lenders in a time-sensitive environment.
Essential Functions
Manages workflow and assists with research, projects and operational changes resulting from policy, procedure, or system changes.
Subject matter expert on team functional responsibilities.
Identifies process improvement opportunities.
Assists with management of internal customer relationships through daily transactional responsibilities and SLA’s
Fast pace environment with extremely visible results with pressure on timely responses to the market and high accuracy to protect bank.
Participate in or write and maintain Doc Prep Processing procedures
Participate in Doc Prep training for new/existing processor as well as market training when applicable
Other duties as assigned
Hours: Monday- Friday- 8:00am- 5:00pm
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required
*Top consideration will go to candidates that already have experience on this team
Knowledge of Commercial loan or legal documentation preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Must work well within a team setting - experience in a cross-functional team preferred
A desire to work in a task oriented and deadline driven environment
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Highly organized and self-motivated in a team environment or independently
Flexible, adaptable and able to handle fast-paced and changing environment
Identify and drive process improvements
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Laser Pro, Excel
Education & Experience
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred
- Post-secondary degree preferred or equivalent work experience in related field
