UMB Bank Client Service Rep II in Kansas City, Missouri

In this Role, You will Need:

  • Demonstrates high level of verbal communication skills terminology unique to Automated Clearinghouse or Wire Transfer processing

  • Ability to operate with little supervision based on thorough product knowledge regarding rules and regulations

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite office products

  • Demonstrates ability to operate within an automated environment

  • Demonstrates ability to use multiple computer applications with fluidity

  • Visual ability to verify and monitor transactions

  • High level of organizational skills

  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge to identify some types of transactional risk, and how to escalate

What You'll Do:

This position is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information to authorized clients regarding the Automated Clearinghouse and Fedwire including issues pertaining to return processes and exception processing.

  • Serving as support or backup for other Investigators as needed

  • Adhering to established policy and procedures to avoid potential security risks

  • Recognizing various types of risk and information breaches, and how to manage each.

  • Escalating potential issues or fraud declarations to management

  • Making recommendations to update procedures

  • Processing transactions with no errors

  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • Three (3) years experience with any one type of electronic payment systems or a combination of multiple types OR

  • One (1) years experience in Commercial Bank Operations

  • One (1) year customer service experience in a professional or back office environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Basic operational knowledge associated of the Electronic Payments Systems (includes ACH, wire transfers)

  • One (1) year experience in a phone center environment
