Call Center Rep

The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Customer Services Representative or experience in a related position.

Responsibilities

  • Receives inbound calls and conducts outbound calls to address issues related to unemployment insurance benefits.

  • Responds to numerous phone inquiries daily using standard call-center technology: telephones, e-mail and web browsers.

  • Adheres to privacy rules set forth by the programs we service

  • Tracks and documents all inquiries using the applicable systems. Updates call record and records data in client systems to resolve issues.

  • Escalates calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed

  • Adjusts to changes in work schedules and adheres to shift requirements

  • Maintains informed of up-to-date regulations and policies as they apply to the various programs supported

  • Responds to telephone inquiries and conducts outbound calls within set time parameters/expected production metrics
