What We Want:
SVG is looking for a business and data minded individual to join our growing Analytics team. We are hiring for a new Business Analytics Systems and Integrity Analyst, someone to work with our Analytics team to provide data centered support to the business. In this role, you will leverage MySQL, Amazon Redshift, and other analytical tools to monitor and outline problems identified in variance analysis. You will conduct daily routine maintenance and upkeep of various database systems, be essential in limiting disruptions in the business process, provide a level of data integrity, and will determine and provide solutions to the business.

What You’ll Do:
As a Business Analytics System Analyst, you will be working in a fast-paced team environment, working to identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose business analytics related operational inefficiencies and failures, including maintaining various related database tables, developing queries that support business processes, and performing regular database audits to assure accuracy and confirm functionality. You will create and manage weekly and monthly reporting requirements in Tableau and Excel with a high level of accuracy that will provide insights into operational and business processes.
You will have the opportunity to work with several of our departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Operations to assist with ad hoc reporting requests and work closely with the Business Analyst Manager to provide recommendations on both daily and long-term business analytics strategies. You will assist with the application of current and future business technologies and tools, understand what tracking metrics should be used in order to identify and diagnose areas for optimization, and maintain database tables and update non automated reports.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or other relatable field OR equivalent relevant work or military experience
2-5 years of successful experience in an analytics role
Advanced knowledge of SQL, SQL Queries and SQL Database structure knowledge
Proficient in Excel, Tableau, and Amazon Redshift
Basic programming experience, preferably Python
Advanced understanding of business problem-solving
Interest in constantly learning as technology changes
Capable of working independently or with a team
Attention to detail and accuracy with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
