Acrisure LLC Employee Benefits Account Manager (Wallstreet Group) in Jefferson City, Missouri

We are currently looking to add our team with an exciting opportunity as an Employee Benefits Account Manager with Wallstreet Group, an Acrisure Agency Partner. This position will be responsible for providing agent and client support during the sale and retention of employee benefits by being a group health insurance, carrier, and Affordable Care Act expert.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the team for project completion and client satisfaction.

  • Day-to-day contact for a specified block of clients purchasing various group benefits. Maintain updated client records in agency management system.

  • Communicate timely and thoroughly with clients and agency staff.

  • Act as conduit between clients and benefit carriers to process new business, renewals, enrollments, billing issues, eligibility, etc. Coordinate and facilitate annual benefit enrollment meetings for groups of multiple employees.

  • Assist in resolving escalated claims and/or billing issues for clients and participants.

  • Consult with clients regularly with regard to compliance with Affordable Care Act mandates, updates and deadlines, in addition to various Human Resources compliance issues such as Department of Labor regulations, FMLA, COBRA, tax considerations, etc. as well as provide guidance to clients on various other aspects of Human Resources function including benefits technology, employee handbooks, etc.

  • Maintain professional knowledge by reading, research, continuing education, reviewing professional publications, etc.

  • Facilitate renewals and marketing process, including Form Fire setup and coordination, proposals, and broker RFPs.

  • Facilitate employee communication, enrollment system setup and maintenance, and carrier enrollments during annual enrollment period.

  • Missouri Life and Health license preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required

  • 2 ? 4 years of experience, preferred

  • Currently possess a Health and Life Insurance License insurance license, or able to obtain on within 6 months of employment, required

Technology Skills:

  • Applied Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred

  • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
