RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assists in the coordination of all aspects of the performance improvement program; support directors and managers in complying with PI activities as it relates to regulatory compliance and lead teams in performance improvement initiatives. * Helps coordinate, develop and evaluate the hospital's overall quality improvement program. This includes interaction with all ancillary, nursing and medical staff departments to identify trends, prioritize and recommend improvements. * Facilitates PI teams to improve patient care outcomes and support other departments in development of PI programs as needed; will help ensure preparedness for and successful outcome of the Joint Commission and other regulatory survey process. QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED * Bachelor's Degree required. Prefer Master's Degree in nursing, healthcare or performance management related field. * Current MO RN licensure preferred or other healthcare related licensure; * Knowledge of spreadsheets including pivot tables, graphing and basic statistics; knowledge of PowerPoint; knowledge of Quality Improvement methodology and team facilitation. * Five years of healthcare experience is preferred. * Minimum of one year of quality improvement/performance improvement experience. * Two years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
