The Boeing Company Senior Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer in Hazelwood, Missouri
The Boeing AvionX Hardware Development Team is seeking a Senior Electronic Design and Analysis Engineer in Hazelwood MO. As a member of the team, you will be designing and developing key electronic systems for use on aircraft and other platforms for core avionics functions.
Leads a technical team in electrical and mechanical design and analysis
Developing and analyzing electronic and electrical system requirements
Designing avionics hardware
Designing circuit board level test equipment for engineering and lab use
Coordinating with suppliers and customers
Performing system requirements verification testing
Resolving product integration issues and production anomalies
Researching basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Post start secret clearance is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
5+ years of experience in the design and/or analysis of electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with Flight Avionics Hardware and Software Components
Experience leading and mentoring a technical team
Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
Experience in Avionic systems: architecture, requirements, design, interfaces, platform integration, flight test planning, testing, validation and verification
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
