National Dentex Maintenance & Custodian Specialist - 2nd Shift in Fenton, Missouri
Description

Our team is growing, and we are hiring for a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO for a Full-Time Maintenance & Custodian Specialist.
Hourly rate of pay is negotiable and will be determined by skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience.
The regular hours for this position are from 3:00pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, dusts, strips, waxes, polishes, and buffs floors, carpets, and furniture, etc.
Empties trash cans and garbage and relines cans
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies; cleans spills; cleans drinking fountains, mirrors, tables, walls, fixtures, blinds, light fixtures, etc.
Washes windows, walls, metal, and woodwork surfaces
Inspects and maintains assigned custodial equipment and small tools for proper operating condition
Opens and closes locks and unlocks facilities as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required:
Working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in building maintenance; Knowledge in the proper and safe techniques of building maintenance
Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedule
Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions and to establish effective working relationships
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used
- All equipment and chemicals utilized in the laboratory for production or maintenance
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time repeated bending and kneeling
Must be able to work from ladders or aerial work platforms
Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reaching with hands and arms; vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
The team member may be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 80 pounds
