Assembly Line
Are you an Assembler ready to apply your skills in a new way? We have a company that is in need of someone with your expertise. If you are willing to adhere to strict attendance guidelines, comfortable working in a team environment, and motivated by overtime pay - this could be the ideal opportunity!
Responsibilities
Monitor product flow from strippers and silos to packaging machines.
Clear product jams at stripper and in turners, chimneys and scales.
Add cartons and change packaging film.
Add containers to case packers.
Make operational adjustments to maintain proper machine rates and packaging quality.
Perform machine and product changeovers accurately in standard allocated time for individual lines.
Add glue and tape.
Monitor, operate and changeover code daters, printers and labelers.
Monitor and adjust scales to ensure proper weights.
Complete required production paperwork to accurately calculate run time, efficiencies and cases produced.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working weekends
