American Outdoor Brands Corporation Logistics Coordinator in Columbia, Missouri
This position will be responsible for fulfilling orders, getting freight quotes, and scheduling the pickups for the orders in transit to our customers in an accurate and timely manner. The Fulfillment Coordinator will become the expert for matters concerning order fulfillment and freight assignment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and experience with computers.
Order Allocation, Waving, Rating, Shipping using BTI and customers systems and following business processes.
Support high levels of customer satisfaction and high service levels by comleting tasks on time and in accordance with processes.
Communicate with team and other departments to facilitate order processing and fulfillment issue resolution.
Familiar with products, package data, and customers.
Understand logistics and inventory processes to identify order allocation and fulfillment issues.
Work with management on problem solving and continuous improvement on order processing and operating efficiently.
Enhancing the overall customer experience through precise and accurate order fulfillment presentation.
Accurately and efficiently enter shipment details into customer transportation management systems for shipment routing purposes.
Cross training in other areas of Logistics.
Work safely as well as identify and report any safety hazards immediately.
Maintain good housekeeping in personal area and all common areas.
Other job duties as assigned.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word.)
Preferred: Experience with Great Plains
Order fulfillment and inventory control experience.
Strong problem-solving ability
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent team player, positive approach, and a desire for process improvements.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
Ability to move about facility on regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
Exposure to plant environment with fork lift and other general hazards.
May experience dusty and dirty conditions where safety glasses and other safety measures may be required.
