The role of the Business Analyst is to analyze and manage technology-based solutions to ensure such solutions meet business goals and requirements. The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring project teams adhere to specific timelines to produce successful processes and workflow. They also review, analyze, and evaluate business solutions needs. Works closely with the Systems Administrator, Project teams, and Platform teams to ensure solution and project success. Communicates with all teams and departments.

Project Management: Manage technology-based projects including tracking open items, communicating enhancements and issues to teams, fostering an open dialogue between teams and Platform departments.
Business Analysis: Help users implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. Defines scope and objectives in relation to projects to ensure solution projects are in alignment with business strategy.
Issues Management and Resolution: Utilize tools (e.g., JIRA, Manage Engine Help Desk) to accept, track, remediate, and measure user issues as they occur.
Partner/Peer Collaboration: Apply Agile principles to enable project teams to serve the needs of the client teams
Vendor Management: Participate in vendor relationships with technology partners
Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Determine requirements of projects and communicate these clearly among Product Owners
Process Analysis and Integration: Understand business goals, team responsibilities, and processes to successfully test technology enhancements and integrate technology into work flow.
Shared Accountability: Accountable for supporting success of both individuals on team and team as a whole
Open Communications: Foster an environment of open, honest, and timely communication

Technical Training. Deliver training on new systems as needed
Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
Understanding of systems engineering concepts
The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
Business case development
Process modeling techniques and methods
B.S. in related field
Two years or more of experience in related field
Proven experience managing IT-based projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Technical proficiency with a variety of software applications
Work experience that demonstrates strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
Ability to interact well with all employees
