Oracle Principal Product Manager in Chesterfield, Missouri
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next generation cloud to support customers running both Oracle and partner workloads. We re working to move our $40B /year enterprise software portfolio to OCI. As we do that, we want to recruit ISVs that add value to our customers and that ecosystem.
This role is focus on our Marketplace. The Marketplace is very new. It launched in February 2019 with significant features added in June and September 2019. The overarching goal of our team is to make the Marketplace the preferred way to buy enterprise software to run on OCI, ultimately driving billions in revenue.
Your job as a product manager (aka partner development manager) would be to develop and manage partners in a particular segment of the ecosystem. Examples of segments include Integration, BI, Data and AI. You will be paired with a partner architect focused on driving the technical aspects of segment build out. Together you own responsibility for the success of your segment.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sole responsibility for a segment in the ecosystem
Create the recruitment and GTM strategy for that segment
Drive influenced and sourced revenue through Marketplace for that segment
Work with your dedicated partner architect and a wider virtual team to build and scale that segment to a viable business
5 years in enterprise software business development and/or sales
Understanding of the enterprise software sales cycle and complex sales
Ability to collaborate with direct sales, marketing, presales and partner architecture to drive revenue through partner led and influenced deals
50% travel. A key part of this role is meeting with both partners and joint customers to drive deals with our direct sales team.
Deep personal network in the segment you are covering
Experience managing and constructing sales and marketing funnels
Track record of exceeding sales targets and expectations
Familiarity with common tools that our partners rely on such as Salesforce.com and Marketo
