Day ShiftThe Financial Analyst I is responsible to providing analytical support and communication for all facilities and departments through various inputs including but not limited to statistics, budget, product line analysis, productivity and costing. Information may be presented internally and to external entities or organizationsBegin

  • Assist in maintenance of systems and processes used for producing standard and special ad hoc reports from decisions support system including budgeting, productivity, variance and cost analysis

  • Assist in balancing, analyzing and loading of patient revenue, statistics, cost, and product line data into decision support system

  • Assist in balancing, analyzing and loading bi-weekly payroll data into the decision support system

  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of related decision support tables and reports to ensure clear, consistent and accurate reports that are useful and actionable

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of organization cost accounting definitions, cost profiles and departmental productivity and standard costs

  • Ensure data integrity by assisting in standardizing data collection within all decision support systems and maintaining the organizations primary data warehouse

Enterprise Resource Management:

  • Conduct evaluation/assessment of new programs/services through analysis

  • Oversee special projects, as instructed by the Director of Finance, providing complete and accurate decision support information, analysis and operational support as may be requested

  • Assist service line managers, cost center managers and other members of the management team in analyzing and effectively using enterprise resource management reports

  • Supports the preparation of Medicaid/Medicare cost reports, surveys, and audits

General Duties:

  • Maintains compliance with principles of accepted employee conduct

  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards

  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise

  • Conducts and assists in the preparation of managerial financial analysis educational sessions as assigned

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Become

  • S. in accounting, finance or other related area preferred

  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel required

  • 1-3 years healthcare experience preferred

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and strict project deadlines

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
