Contributes to the mission of increasing EBITDA through defining and implementing strategies that respond to competitive markets.
Develops plans and programs to increase brand loyalty, provide fun and entertainment and increase market share.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates and implements day-to-day marketing initiatives including promotions, events, players’ club, entertainment, development of rules and marketing collateral.
Develops and manages the casino marketing budget.
Provides directives on marketing tactics and methods for the property.
Defines departmental and individual performance goals and duties.
Develops and directs all property marketing programs and processes.
Oversees all hiring, training and evaluation of Marketing department staff.
Monitors competitors’ promotions and adjust Marketing plans as necessary.
Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information.
Prepares and presents financial analysis, program planning and promotion information to property leadership.
Analyzes and interprets customer needs and expectations.
Manages operational expenses of the marketing department.
Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrate ability to understand, communicate and comply with Company Policies, Processes, and Procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule in an interruptive environment.
Ability to manage and resolve complex issues.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality as needed to safeguard team-members, and proprietary data.
Must possess excellent communications and guest service skills.
Must possess extensive budget experience and analytical abilities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
7+ years’ of marketing/promotions, experience in a high-volume hospitality industry, 3+ years in a leadership role, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
Works primarily in an office environment.
